MFB 520 Europe is a box for installation at workstations at industrial workplaces. MFB 520 contains the necessary connections, compressed air, 220 and 380 Volt power outlets, automatic exhaust vents, time and job registration system, task management, intercom system and music player, as well as lots of other functions that can be tailored to the needs of the workplace concerned. The installation of MFB 520 is easy and flexible. It can hang in a wire or be mounted on a swivel arm /rail system, depending on what is required.

The automatic exhaust vents are designed for extraction from pneumatic tools in high pressure systems. The vent is activated by the consumption on the compressed air outlet concerned and closes again shortly after the flow to the tool has stopped. In addition, the central exhaust motor is notified of the number of workstations that are active, so the extraction is adapted to requirements. As all inactive vents are closed, extraction is therefore concentrated on the active workstations, thereby avoiding unnecessary extraction of air from the workshop and ensuring that extraction remains only at the level required. As a result, a double energy saving is achieved: electricity consumption and heat loss.

MFB 520 Europe can be integrated via computer into the enterprise’s other departments such as administration, sales office, etc. MFB 520 can be connected to the enterprise’s IT system without further modifications, thereby enabling optimum exploitation of communication. Text messages can be sent to the workstation – there is also an option of being able to monitor the progress of a particular task, which optimises control and the overall view of production. It is also possible to print out a log/screen dump.
